In the early 1970’s, part of the land on which the course now stands was donated to the Council for the purpose of constructing a Public Golf Course for the benefit of the residents of the Mornington Peninsula Shire.In 1977, the then Shire President Cr. Marcia Sly, and deputy President Cr. D Gordon, officially opened the Golf Course. In 1980, the then Shire President, Cr. R. Cooper, officially opened the pavilion which became affectionately known as “The Tin Shed” and encouraged those in attendance to form a Golf Club.<\/p>\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tread more\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\"All\n\t
